Hi, i was wondering if anyone has attended the Brighton Social Anxiety Group (BSAG) at all? if so is it quite helpful? and does anyone have any other contact details for them other than the email address shown on socal anxiety uk website? i am asking this as my ms outlook doesnt work suprise suprise!(just like everything microsoft!) and i sent them an email using my yahoo email and not sure if it worked! cheers.

Hmmm. I thought that it wasn't around anymore. I tied to join their forum a couple of years back and I got no reply. :(  I think that the links you've seen are quite old now.

Hiya,

I used to help run BSAG. We monitor it, but haven't actively done anything with it for a few years, mainly due to other commitments by everyone. Bit of a shame, but at least there are resources like here where people can visit, and meetings also. I think there will always be someone out there to help with a support group!

We did have a bit of a peak in the past, to try and get more going though. We ran a self help CBT group (using the Dr Richards CDs as a base to work from), which some found helpful. Also we did the odd cafe/pub meet similar to the ones here I would think.

I'll try and get the site redirected at some point!
