FEAR - even typing it out makes me feel uncomfortable

have been trying to deal with fear (see if typing it lower case diminishes it's power - Hmm not sure will try some more, fear fear fear fear) for many, many years. Fear, worry, anxiety, think the fear factor, fear of 'it' (whatever our 'it' is) always seems to be the beating primal heart of our anxieties. One of my favourite reads has been Susan Jeffers 'feel the fear and do it anyway' and I came across her fear truths that she talks of in this book, I wrote them down on a card and used it as a bookmark for many months, years ago, and came across it again this morning. I re-read them and the knowledge of what they spell out gave me some borrowed strength to push through some of my fear barriers this morning and thought I'd put them out there to perhaps help someone else out.
Fear Truths(adapted from Susan Jeffers 'feel the fear and do it anyway')
Truth One The fear will never go away as long as I continue to grow.
Truth TwoThe only way to get rid of the fear of doing something is to go out and do it.
Truth ThreeThe only way to feel better about myself is to go out ? and do it.
Truth FourNot only am I going to experience fear whenever I?m on unfamiliar territory, but so is everyone else..
Truth FivePushing through fears is less frightening than living with the underlying fear that comes from a feeling of helplessness.
