hi i have been gad sufferer all of my life with breaks in between when been fairly ok. in my late 50 s divorced woman :-\.last 4 weeks been very bad again and  cant seem to shake it off!! very hard to cope with.also last 2 years have supported my partner who suffer s from depression and have helped him lots and been hhis rock.its not been easy but as was feelin generally ok myself could do it. as  been struggling found it not easy to cope with his problems but got no help back!! we had row last weekend and i moaned at hjm 4 always bein asleep and said was a waste of space!!! harsh maybe but i cant be mrs supportive all the time especially as he was not thinking about my feelings. he decided to end it just on that and i was so angry!!!! well he s gone and i wrote and told him what i thought and not upset just puzzled by his behaviuor .my anxiety is still very high and would appreciate some help please  .doc told me to increase prozac and is sending me 4 counselling.i know all the coping strategies and try to apply them but its wearing me down. i live in worthing and would love to come to a meeting  or a night out!! i can drive so if anyone wants to come with me then great!!! whrn ok im a bubbly person and like a laugh!! also  does anyone suffer intense tummy tension that starts when you get up and somrtimes lasts all day!!!!!! xx

Am sorry things are tough for you at the moment, and you seem to know what strategies to employ but in my experience its a bit of a waiting game, not very helpful I know! I think its great that you've posted here and you will get lots of support. I'm finding that just knowing others identify and willing to listen is providing some comfort. It must also be very tiring, having supported someone who was ill themselves. I think if you can take some time for you, doing something you enjoy or find relaxing, may help. Just be kind to yourself and take it a step at a time.
