It seems to be a common trait of many people with anxiety that it can take a long time to realise that our lives seem to be affected in many different ways before we're able to identify the role anxiety plays and then move to the next stage of wanting to do something about it. I know it's taken me a very long time and I'm still unravelling past experiences that I can make links with my anxieties and sometimes this helps to put the missing pieces together.
Perhaps the feeling of being lost you speak of is part of the process and I guess why you've come here to find company and a better understanding?
The Wednesday meets are a good way of meeting other local individuals living with anxiety and it can be very daunting before you make that next step forward. Tomorrows meet is a little different in that the group will meet at Bombay Aloo Mix on St. James Street, it's worth checking the meetings and events section of the forum for updates on the meets.
